Geography Curricula Objectives and Students’ Performance: Enhancing the Student’s Higher-Order Thinking Skills?

چکیده

This paper centers on to evaluate whether and what extent the learning objectives of geography curricula emphasize students’ higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), students are capable answering HOTS-questions by using Finnish upper secondary education as an example. The revised Bloom’s taxonomy was used a framework for content analysis. findings show that has potential enhance HOTS, but experience difficulties when HOTS-questions. results could be desired knowledge dimensions in meaningful learning.
